Influencer Campaign Calculator for Nepal: CPM, Cost per Engagement, and ROAS
Influencer and creator posts are popular with Nepali brands, but they are often judged by likes alone. This calculator turns a campaign into the same numbers you use for ads: cost per 1,000 views, cost per engagement, cost per click, cost per sale, and ROAS. That makes it easier to compare creators with each other and with paid ads.

What to include in cost
Count everything the campaign cost you: the creator’s fee, free products, travel, production, and any money spent boosting the post. Leaving out product or boosting costs makes a campaign look cheaper than it was.
Getting reliable numbers
- Views or reach: ask the creator for insights screenshots taken a few days after posting. Check the audience location too; views from outside Nepal may be of little use to a local business.
- Engagements: likes, comments, shares, and saves from the same screenshots. Read the comments for real interest, such as questions about price and location.
- Clicks: use a tagged link from the UTM builder for each creator.
- Sales: give each creator a unique discount code and ask new customers how they heard about you. Record the source when orders come in by DM, WhatsApp, or phone.
Hypothetical example: a NPR 30,000 campaign gets 60,000 views, 2,400 engagements, 600 link clicks, and 25 tracked sales at NPR 2,200 each. That is NPR 500 per 1,000 views, NPR 12.50 per engagement, NPR 50 per click, and NPR 1,200 per sale, with revenue of NPR 55,000 (a ROAS of 1.83).
Reading the result
- Compare with paid ads to the same audience. If ads deliver views or sales much more cheaply, the creator needs to add something ads cannot, such as trust, content you can reuse, or reach into a new audience.
- Check profit, not just ROAS. Use the break-even ROAS calculator to see whether the sales covered the cost.
- Count content value. If you get rights to reuse the video in ads, that has value beyond the original post.
- Expect some unmeasured effect. Not every buyer uses a code or link, so tracked sales are a minimum.
- Compare creators fairly: same type of post, same tracking, same time after posting.
