Unit 8: Multimedia
This unit explores the world of multimedia, the technology that combines multiple forms of media into a single, interactive presentation. In today’s visually-driven world, multimedia is a fundamental part of how we consume information and entertainment.
We will define multimedia and look at its key elements: text, graphics, audio, video, and animation. We will also explore the concepts of interactive multimedia and hypermedia, and examine the various applications of multimedia in business and on the web.
