Being Busy Is Not the Same as Being Effective in Marketing
Motion is not Progress. A rocking chair is always moving, but it never goes anywhere.
I audit my time every month using the “Eisenhower Matrix.” Most marketers spend all their time in “Urgent / Not Important” (Emails, Slacks). To win, you must block time for “Not Urgent / Important” (Strategy, Learning, Writing).
graph TD
A[Task] --> B{Urgent?}
B -- Yes --> C{Important?}
C -- Yes --> D["Do Now: Crisis, Deadlines"]
C -- No --> E["Delegate: Emails, Slacks, Interruptions"]
B -- No --> F{Important?}
F -- Yes --> G["Schedule: Strategy, Learning, Writing"]
F -- No --> H["Eliminate: Time Wasters, Distractions"]
D & E & G & H -- Result --> I(Productivity Outcome)
