  • Confident delivery

❌ Common Weaknesses:

  • No clear metrics
  • Text-heavy slides
  • Rushed/over time

Peer Feedback Guidelines

Use the "Two Stars and a Wish" Method:

  1. ⭐ Star 1: One specific thing done well
    • "Great use of data to support your ad strategy"
  2. ⭐ Star 2: Another strength
    • "Your social media mockups looked very professional"
  3. 💭 Wish: One constructive suggestion
    • "Consider adding mobile optimization details to landing page"

Be specific, kind, and helpful!

Presenter Tips: Last Minute Prep

  • 🧘 Take deep breaths: Stay calm and centered
  • 💧 Have water nearby: Keep your throat clear
  • 📱 Silence devices: No interruptions
  • 👀 Make eye contact: Connect with audience
  • 🎤 Speak clearly: Project your voice
  • 😊 Smile: Show enthusiasm for your work!

Handling Nervousness

It's Normal to Be Nervous!

  • Reframe it: "I'm excited" vs. "I'm nervous"
  • Focus on value: You're sharing useful work
  • Remember your prep: You've practiced this
  • Start strong: Confident intro sets the tone
  • If you stumble: Pause, breathe, continue (everyone understands!)

Answering Questions Confidently

Do's:

  • ✅ Listen fully before answering
  • ✅ Repeat/clarify if needed
  • ✅ Be honest: "I don't know, but..."
  • ✅ Relate back to your strategy
  • ✅ Keep answers concise

Don'ts:

  • ❌ Interrupt the question
  • ❌ Get defensive
  • ❌ Make up answers
  • ❌ Go off on tangents
  • ❌ Dismiss feedback

Sample Q&A Responses

Question: "Why Instagram over TikTok?"

Good Answer: "Great question! I chose Instagram because my target audience (ages 25-40, professionals) are more active there according to recent Nepal social media statistics. TikTok skews younger (16-24), which doesn't match our buyer persona. However, I'd test TikTok in Month 3 if we see younger prospects engaging."

Notice: Data-backed, acknowledges alternative, shows strategic thinking

Audience Etiquette

While Others Are Presenting:

  • 👁️ Pay attention: Active listening
  • 📝 Take notes: Learn from their strategies
  • 🤐 No side conversations: Be respectful
  • 📱 Devices away: Unless taking notes
  • 👏 Applaud: Support your peers
  • Ask thoughtful questions: Engage meaningfully

Reflection Questions (While Watching):

  • What did this presenter do particularly well?
  • What creative tactics could I adapt for my work?
  • How did they present data/visuals effectively?
  • What would I have done differently?

Common Presentation Challenges

Challenge

  • Technical issues
  • Going over time
  • Forgetting a point
  • Tough question
  • Blank on data

Solution

  • Have backup (USB, printout)
  • Practice with timer
  • Pause, check notes, continue
  • "Let me think..." is okay
  • "I'll verify and get back to you"

Mistakes happen—recovery matters more!
