๐ Page Layout Setup
Found under the **Layout** tab.
Margins
White space around the content.
- Normal: 1 inch all sides.
- Narrow: 0.5 inch (more space for text).
- Custom: Set specific values.
Orientation & Size
- Portrait: Vertical (Standard).
- Landscape: Horizontal (Tables/Certificates).
- Size: A4 (International) vs Letter (US).
๐ Page vs. Section Breaks
Breaks control where text ends and new pages start.
- Page Break (`Ctrl + Enter`): Pushes text to the next page.
- Section Break (Next Page): Starts a new section with different formatting (e.g., Landscape page in a Portrait document).
- Continuous Break: Change formatting (like columns) on the same page.
๐ Headers & Footers
Repeated content at the top/bottom of every page.
- Insert Tab > Header/Footer: Add logos, dates, document titles.
- Page Numbers: Essential for long documents.
- "Different First Page": Hide header/number on the cover page.
๐ผ๏ธ Inserting Visuals
Images & Shapes
- **Pictures:** From file (Download Sample) or online.
- **Shapes:** Boxes, arrows, flowchart symbols.
- **Wrap Text:** Control how text flows around images (Square, Behind Text).
SmartArt & Charts
- **SmartArt:** Visual lists, processes, cycles.
- **Charts:** Bar, Pie, Line graphs (linked to Excel data).
๐ Hyperlinks
Connect your document to the web or other files.
- Select text -> Right Click -> **Link** (`Ctrl + K`).
- Link to: Web pages, Email addresses, or Places in the document (Bookmarks).

Create a Company Newsletter
- Set Margins to **Narrow** and Orientation to **Portrait**.
- Insert a **Shape** at the top for the Banner/Logo.
- Add a **Header** with the Date and issue number.
- Insert a **Picture** and set Wrap Text to **Square**.
- Add a **Hyperlink** to "Visit Website" at the bottom.
